Taking the home field in every case, huh? I’d argue that Virginia would be the most likely to buck that trend. I’m also torn, thinking that Clemson could actually pull the pseudo-upset.

The home teams won 13 of 16 regionals and the home team has a distinct advantage. That said, some of these were extremely close. The home field actually made the difference in 3 of these (North Carolina, Florida State and Mississippi).

Agreed with UNC/FSU/and Ole Miss. I think the same could be said about LSU. I guess my point is you went with the home field in ALL of them.
Oh, and since I forgot it in my first post, good luck this weekend.

Thanks, I think the Tigers are a long shot. The one advantage they had last weekend was pitching. Not the case this week.
The LSU-Rice series is one of the close ones I was talking about. Very close.
This was a purely mathmatical equation, no human emotion went into it.
