  • You don’t ever know about a football coach until you get in a ditch. He worked his way out of a ditch pretty good. That’s a good sign. - Danny Ford on Dabo Swinney

Saturday scrimmage takeaways

Posted by cuorange on August 16, 2009

Purple HeismanA few notes and observations from my reading of the second scrimmage:

  1. Barring something unforseen Kyle Parker is the starting quarterback.
  2. Willy Korn will play.  Maybe one series, maybe 5, who knows, but he will play.
  3. Either the defense is really good, or the offense is really bad.  Or a little of both.  Two scrimmages, one touchdown.  You do the math.
  4. Brandon Ford is making a move at WR.
  5. The Quarterback-Center exchange will hurt Clemson at some point this year.
  6. The kicking game is iffy, never a good sign.
